Borussia Dortmund are one win away from clinching the Bundesliga title, and they take on Mainz 05 this weekend on the final day of the season.

The Bundesliga title finally appears to be in Borussia Dortmund’s grasp after 11 years of wait. But in order to end Bayern’s reign at the top and bring the Meisterschale back to Dortmund, they must first beat Mainz 05 this weekend.

A fascinating final day of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season lies in store for fans, and the Westfalenstadion will be packed to the rafters for what will hopefully be Borussia Dortmund’s title party.

The Black and Yellows have an excellent record at home in the Bundesliga, and go into the Mainz game full of confidence. Edin Terzic will be relying on the likes of Sebastien Haller, Donyell Malen and Karim Adeyemi to continue their stunning run of form and fire BVB to the Bundesliga title.

Mainz 05 will look to play spoilsport to Borussia Dortmund’s title dream on Saturday. They are currently ninth in the Bundesliga standings, and have lost their last four matches.
