Borussia Dortmund are ready to sell Thorgan Hazard, Thomas Meunier and Nico Schulz this summer as they look to make room for new signings.
With the 2022/23 season in the books, squad planning for next season is already underway at Borussia Dortmund. The BVB bosses are working hard to bring in reinforcements, and a number of players are also expected to leave the club before the start of the new season.
Sebastian Kehl wants to trim down the Borussia Dortmund squad a bit this summer. And BILD claim that Thorgan Hazard, Thomas Meunier and Nico Schulz are all free to leave the club.
Thorgan Hazard spent the second half of the recently concluded season on loan with PSV Eindhoven and helped them win the Dutch Cup. He is now set to return to Borussia Dortmund. But those in charge at the club are hopeful that they will soon be able to find a buyer for him.
Thomas Meunier has fallen out of favour at Borussia Dortmund and can leave the club for a bargain fee this summer. FC Barcelona have been linked with a move for the Belgian international in the past.
Nico Schulz is no longer part of the Borussia Dortmund first-team squad. And the Black and Yellows are willing to let him leave the club on a free transfer this summer in a bid to get him off the payroll.
It remains to be seen if a buyer can be found for the former Hoffenheim left-back, who still has one more year left on his contract.
