Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, and a number of other clubs are said to be keeping tabs on LASK attacking midfielder Keito Nakamura.

Highly rated attacking midfielder Keito Nakamura could be a target for Borussia Dortmund, with the Daily Mail reporting that the Black and Yellows are eyeing a move for him. The tabloid claims that Liverpool, Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Aston Villa are among the other clubs in the race for his signature.

Nakamura is coming off an impressive breakthrough campaign with Austrian side LASK. The 22 year old scored 17 goals and assisted a further eight in the recently concluded season to help LASK earn a third place finish in the Austrian Bundesliga standings. His performances also helped him earn a call-up to the Japan national team, and he scored his first goal for his country earlier this month.

Primarily a winger, Keito Nakamura is also capable of playing centrally. He has two years left on his current contract with LASK, having joined the club in 2021.

It remains to be seen how concrete Borussia Dortmund’s interest is in signing Nakamura. There is no shortage of attacking options in the BVB ranks at the moment, with the likes of Karim Adeyemi, Donyell Malen, Gio Reyna, and Julien Duranville among those vying for places.
