Borussia Dortmund are reportedly confident of completing the signing of Felix Nmecha, with talks said to be approaching the home straight.

It looks like Borussia Dortmund are closing in on their Jude Bellingham replacement, with Felix Nmecha expected to join the club. According to BILD, the Black and Yellows are convinced that the midfielder will join the club as talks over the transfer are approaching the home straight.

Edin Terzic is said to be a big fan of Nmecha, and the club will hope that he can fill the big gap left in midfield following Jude Bellingham’s departure to Real Madrid.

A transfer fee in the region of 15-20 million euros is being touted for the Germany international, who has two years left on his current contract with VfL Wolfsburg.

Newcastle United and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for Nmecha, but BILD claim that the Manchester City youth academy product would prefer a move to Borussia Dortmund.

Felix Nmecha was one of Wolfsburg’s leading performers on the pitch in the recently concluded season. He made a total of 32 appearances for Niko Kovac’s side, scoring three goals and assisting a further six. His performances helped him earn a maiden call-up to the Germany senior squad in March. And now it appears that a move to Borussia Dortmund is also in the offing.
