Borussia Dortmund are said to be showing interest in VfB Stuttgart right-back Josha Vagnoman, but concrete talks have not taken place as of yet.

Signing a new right-back is one of the tasks on Sebastian Kehl’s in-tray for this summer. And Borussia Dortmund are keeping tabs on Josha Vagnoman. This is being reported by the Stuttgarter Nachrichten, who add that the interest is still at a very early stage.

According to the newspaper, the right-back feels very comfortable at VfB Stuttgart and has no concrete plans to leave the club as of yet. And the Swabians aren’t thinking about selling the 22 year old either.

Vagnoman is coming off an impressive second half of the season with VfB Stuttgart, and also won his first senior cap for Germany in March. The former Hamburger SV player made 29 appearances last season, and registered a total of three goals and four assists. His best performance came against Borussia Dortmund in April, as he helped Stuttgart pull off a stunning come from behind 3-3 draw.

Josha Vagnoman still has three years left on his current contract with Stuttgart. And with Stuttgart not looking to sell him this summer, Borussia Dortmund will likely have to fork out a big fee if they want to sign him.
