The Champions League draw takes place on Thursday and Borussia Dortmund will be eagerly anticipating who they will go up against in the competition.

Edin Terzic’s side crashed out of last year’s UEFA Champions League after losing to Chelsea at the last 16 stage, despite taking a 1-0 lead in the first leg. This year, the Black and Yellows will be seeded in Pot 2 alongside European giants such as Real Madrid, Manchester United and Inter Milan.

Although the completed pots will not be confirmed until the night before the draw due to remaining qualifiers, we will take a look at what the best and worst case scenarios for Borussia Dortmund could be this season in the CL group stage.
