Jamie Bynoe-Gittens celebrated his England U-21s debut with an assist as he came off the bench to help them earn a 3-0 win over Luxembourg.
The international break continued on Monday evening, as the England U-21s began their 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign with a comfortable 3-0 win over Luxembourg. Goals from Liam Delap, Callum Doyle and Cole Palmer secured the three points for the England U-21s. And highly rated Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens also made his debut for them.
Bynoe-Gittens came off the bench in the 63rd minute, and it did not take him long to make an impact on the game. The 19 year old made a fine run down the left wing, before picking out Palmer inside the box. And the Chelsea midfielder found the roof of the net with an impressive first-time finish for England’s third goal.
The goal capped off a fine win for the England U-21s, who won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship this summer and will look to retain their title in two years’ time.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens will now look to build on his promising England U-21s debut as he returns to Borussia Dortmund. The talented winger is fully fit again after struggling with shoulder issues for much of last season. He has made one substitute appearance for the Black and Yellows so far this season, and will hope for more playing time in the coming weeks with games set to come thick and fast.
Bynoe-Gittens has three goals and one assist to his name in 25 first-team appearances for Borussia Dortmund.
