Borussia Dortmund will be back in Bundesliga action this weekend as they take on SC Freiburg away from home.

The pressure is mounting on Edin Terzic and Borussia Dortmund heading into their Bundesliga matchday four clash against SC Freiburg. After drawing two of their opening three matches in the league, the Black and Yellows cannot afford to drop more points against SC Freiburg.

Borussia Dortmund are set to be without Gio Reyna, Julien Duranville, Mateu Morey and Thomas Meunier on Saturday. Niclas Füllkrug has also recovered from his thigh injury and has been included in the squad to face Freiburg.

Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for their Bundesliga clash against SC Freiburg.

Gregor Kobel is expected to line up between the sticks on Saturday despite his injury scare on international duty.

Nico Schlotterbeck and Niklas Süle started at centre-back against Heidenheim and are likely to retain their spots in the team on Saturday. The recent international break was a mixed bag for the defensive duo, and it will be interesting to see how they fare against the goal-shy Freiburg on Saturday.

Julian Ryerson should return to the starting XI in place of Marius Wolf, while Ramy Bensebaini will line-up at left-back once again.

Emre Can earned some plaudits for his performance against France earlier this week, and he will now hope to build on that by spearheading the BVB midfield. The club captain has endured a difficult start to the season and needs to step up in the coming games.

Marcel Sabitzer hasn’t had the most promising of starts to life at Borussia Dortmund. And he will also hope for a change in fortunes, starting on Saturday. Julian Brandt will start in the number eight role, looking to build on his encouraging performances before the international break.

In attack, Sebastien Haller will likely keep his place in the starting XI despite his poor start to the season. With hardly any other options available to Edin Terzic, Karim Adeyemi and Donyell Malen will likely start on the wings against Freiburg.
