The UEFA Champions League group stage is upon us, and Borussia Dortmund will begin their campaign with a trip to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

After seeing off the challenge of SC Freiburg on Saturday, Borussia Dortmund will switch their focus to matchday one of the UEFA Champions League group stage. A tough test awaits the Black and Yellows on Tuesday as they take on Paris Saint-Germain in France.

Borussia Dortmund will know all about the importance of getting off to a strong start in the UEFA Champions League, especially considering the quality of the teams they will come up against in the group stage.

Edin Terzic will be sweating on the fitness of Ramy Bensebaini ahead of the game, after he was forced to come off at half-time against Freiburg. Gio Reyna missed the trip to Freiburg, but is set to return to the squad on Tuesday.

Thomas Meunier will miss the reunion against his former club, while Mateu Morey and Julien Duranville are also sidelined at the moment.

Paris Saint-Germain have endured a difficult start to the season, and have won just two of their five Ligue 1 matches so far.

Luis Enrique’s side were beaten by OGC Nice on Friday, and the pressure is already mounting on the French giants. But they still have plenty of quality in their squad, with Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Randal Kolo Muani set to lead the attack on Tuesday.
