Expected Borussia Dortmund lineup for Newcastle United clash

The Black and Yellows travel to St. James’ Park on Wednesday on the back of five consecutive Bundesliga wins. But poor form in the Champions League means that the trip to Newcastle United will be a must-win one for Borussia Dortmund.
Edin Terzic’s side have only collected only one point from their first two Champions League games, and have failed to create a single big chance. After a rather underwhelming start to the season, Newcastle United have found form in both the Premier League and Champions League.
The Magpies are unbeaten in their last eight games across all competitions, winning six of them. During this impressive run, they’ve managed to knock Manchester City out of the Carabao Cup and thump PSG 4-1.
If Borussia Dortmund are to get anything out of this fixture, they will need to solidify their defence and also make sure that they deliver an efficient attacking display. Here we take a look at how BVB could line up for their big clash against Newcastle United.
Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel
The reliable Kobel will start between the sticks and will need to perform at his usual best if BVB are to get all three points from this fixture. His task won’t be an easy one, though, as he will have to go up against former Dortmund man Alexander Isak or Calum Wilson.
