Borussia Dortmund are set to go up against TSG Hoffenheim in the second round of the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday.

The DFB-Pokal is back this week and Borussia Dortmund will look to secure their progress to the next round as they take on Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim at the Westfalenstadion. The Black and Yellows are currently on a seven game unbeaten run and will look to continue that against a Hoffenheim side that has also enjoyed a strong start to the season.

Borussia Dortmund will go into Wednesday’s game as the favourites. But they cannot afford to Pellegrino Matarazzo’s side lightly.

Edin Terzic will be sweating on the fitness of a number of key players ahead of the game, including Gregor Kobel, Felix Nmecha, and Emre Can. BVB could also rest some players ahead of their Bundesliga clash against Bayern Munich this weekend.

Wout Weghorst and Maximilian Beier are set to lead the attacking responsibilities for Hoffenheim on Wednesday. The former scored his first goal for Hoffenheim this past weekend, and the latter has enjoyed an excellent start to the season.
