Borussia Dortmund will hope to snap their two-game winless streak in the Bundesliga this weekend as they take on VfB Stuttgart.

The Black and Yellows got momentum back on side earlier this week with a crucial 2-0 win over Newcastle United in the UEFA Champions League. They will now hope to translate their Champions League form to the Bundesliga, with a tough assignment against the high-flying Stuttgart next up for them.

Sebastian Hoeneß has led Stuttgart to an excellent start to the season, with the Swabians currently in third place in the Bundesliga standings.

However, they have struggled in the absence of top scorer Serhou Guirassy and go into Saturday’s game on the back of two straight defeats. Guirassy, who has scored 15 goals in just nine games this season, could return to the Stuttgart squad against Borussia Dortmund.

The last time these two sides met, Borussia Dortmund inexplicably let a two goal lead slip against 10-man Stuttgart and were held to a 3-3 draw, which ultimately cost them heavily in the Bundesliga title race. So Edin Terzic will be keen to ensure that his players keep their concentration at all times.
