Borussia Dortmund will return to Bundesliga action this weekend as they take on Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Westfalenstadion.

It will be the Battle of the Borussias in the Bundesliga this weekend as Edin Terzic’s side square off against the Foals, who found some form before the international break. Borussia Dortmund go into the clash on the back of three games without a win in the Bundesliga. And they will hope to get some momentum back on side with a win against Gladbach.

The Black and Yellows will have to make do without Felix Nmecha, with the midfielder sidelined for the rest of the year. Although Emre Can could make his return to the team.

It will be interesting to see if Edin Terzic decides to make wholesale changes to the side that was convincingly beaten by Stuttgart before the international break.

Borussia Mönchengladbach are currently on a four-game unbeaten run, and claimed a stunning 4-0 win over Wolfsburg before the international break. Tomas Cvancara is Gladbach’s top scorer this season with six goals to his name, while Franck Honorat has also made a big impact since joining the club in the summer.

Former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl will lead the charge in the middle of the park for Gerardo Seoane’s side, with the fit-again Manu Koné set to partner him.

Ko Itakura and Jordan are both back in team training and could return to the Gladbach squad on Saturday. First-choice goalkeeper Jonas Omlin remains sidelined due to injury.
