Borussia Dortmund secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday as Maximilian Beier came off the bench to score in the 80th minute of the game and hand all three points for the BVB, who picked up their first top-flight victory in three games.

Here are 3 winners and 2 losers from Borussia Dortmund's 1-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt:

Winner #1 - Maximilian Beier

Just when fans were starting to get to him with a barrage of criticisms, Maximilian Beier once again silenced the cacophony with a match-winning display. He came off the bench to score a worldie from outside the box in the 80th minute to hand the BVB a narrow 1-0 win. The 24-year-old doesn't score often, but whenever he does, makes sure that it's a winner, just as Beier did against Stuttgart last month too.

Loser #1 - Fabio Silva

To say that Fabio Silva has been ineffective lately would be an incorrect judgement. The Portuguese have been proactively running between defenses and providing an outlet for shots. However, the issue is with his finishing. So clinical in front of goal before the international break, Silva has been equally wayward since resuming club duties this month. On Saturday too, the forward blazed an early chance high and wide after being set up beautifully by Serhou Guirassy.

Winner #2 - Ramy Bensebaini

He too had a tough outing last time out but returned to his defensive best here. Ramy Bensebaini was also always quick to react to any incoming ball and repelled crosses with his aerial prowess, winning five of his seven duels in those situations. He made eight clearances on the night and blocked one shot, while starting the move which led to BVB's winner in the 80th minute as the Algerian squared a long pass from the back for Beier on the left channel.

Loser #2 - Marcel Sabitzer

Dortmund fans have grown tired of Marcel Sabitzer's inconsistent display. He was given a chance to prove his mettle with a rare start and the Austrian cut a rather forlorn figure in attack. Across 68 minutes, Sabitzer laid just six accurate passes from 16 and failed to create anything meaningful going forward. His only attempt at goal was also blocked.

Winner #3 - Jobe Bellingham

Jobe Bellingham is fast becoming Dortmund's MVP off the bench. He assisted Beier's winner against Stuttgart last month, set up a wonderful chance for Silva against Sabah, and on Saturday, teed up Beier again for the match-winning goal. His combination play with the German was superb; ran into the space on the left before evading his marker and then spotting Beier's run to cut it back for him.
