Borussia Dortmund stars Ramy Bensebaini and Maximilian Beier were featured in the Bundesliga Team of the Week for matchday 31.
Both players played a starring role in their side's convincing 4-0 win over Freiburg on Sunday as the Black and Yellows arrested their downward spiral and finally qualified for the Champions League too.
Beier opened the scoring for the BVB after only eight minutes into the kick-off as the German international raced down the left flank to connect with a looping cross from Bensebaini.
After a soft touch inside the box, the midfielder slotted it in beyond goalkeeper Noah Atubolu for 1-0 as Dortmund made a bright start to the game.
It was Beier's ninth league goal of the season (and 11th overall), one more than what he managed last term but the player has another three games to add a few more strikes to his tally.
While his goalscoring output has reduced at Dortmund, he's transformed into a creator too and seen his influence on the side grow under Niko Kovac.
Against Freiburg, the 23-year-old was also key to regaining possession as he made three recoveries while also winning four ground duels from eight attempts. He created one big chance in the game too.
Speaking of Bensebaini, he was the architect of the opening goal with a superb long-range pass for Beier to chase, but his real moment came in the 31st minute.
The Algerian got onto the end of a sublime corner kick from assist king Julian Ryerson and headed it home for 3-0 as Dortmund had all but sealed the win.
A centre-back by trade, Bensebaini notched his fifth league strike of the season and seventh in all competitions.
But the player was equally - or more - involved in the defense too, showing excellent vision to make four clearances and kept biting at the heels of Freiburg players for possession.
Bensebaini made eight recoveries in the match, a telling stat that reflects his significance at regaining the ball while also winning nine of his 12 ground duels.
He was vital in transitions when Dortmund looked to turn a defensive moment into an attacking play as Bensebaini's positioning was to the T.
Both these players also received the highest rating on SofaScore with 8.3 for Beier and 9.3 for Bensebaini.
Borussia Dortmund return to action on Sunday, 3 May against Borussia Monchengladbach at the Borussia-Park for matchday 32 in the Bundesliga.
