Borussia Dortmund never run short of goals. Given their track record of recruiting talented young guns, it's easy to see why. And the 2025-26 season was no exception.
The BVB finished with 70 goals from 34 games in the Bundesliga, a tally surpassed by only VfB Stuttgart (71) and champions Bayern Munich, who set a league record of 122 goals.
Niko Kovac's swashbuckling team were not merely stat-padding as many of their strikers were straight out of the top-drawer. Here are the top five goals of their season:
5) Serhou Guirassy vs Union Berlin
During the initial stages of the 2025-26 season, Serhou Guirassy was on fire and many teams felt the heat while going up against him, such as Union Berlin. After beautifully side-footing a pass from Aaron Anselmino, the Guinean raced clear of the Iron Ones to connect with a throughball before nonchalantly lobbing it over the goalkeeper in 1v1.
4) Marcel Sabitzer vs Werder Bremen
It was a mediocre season at best for Marcel Sabitzer but this goal certainly wasn't. The Austrian struck just once in the Bundesliga this season and the goal was pure quality. After a few passes around the Werder Bremen box, Sabitzer came into possession right on the line, took a touch before adjusting himself and slotting it home with all the venom.
3) Carney Chukwuemeka vs Hamburg
One of the breakout stars of the Bundesliga, Carney Chukwuemeka's rise can summbed up by this superb volley he struck against Hamburg. A scuffle inside the area saw the ball looping over and coming towards the Austrian, who then made a loaded first-time finish into the far post.
2) Julian Brandt vs Borussia Monchengladbach
Dortmund's second-highest scorer of the season had a few bangers up his sleeves. Against Borussia Monchengladbach, Julian Brandt displayed his sublime quality by connecting with an equally fantastic, looping cross over the Foals defense with a tidy finish into the far corner from a tight angle.
1) Karim Adeyemi vs Wolfsburg
Karim Adeyemi was having a phenomenal run during the first-half of the Bundesliga season and nothing can encapsulate his confidence on the pitch quite like this goal against Wolfsburg. After receiving a pass from Julian Ryerson on the right, the German ran into space before arrowing an 18-yard thunderbolt beyond the despairing dive of Die Wolfe goalkeeper Kamil Grabara which ultimately proved enough to seal all three points for the BVB.
