Borussia Dortmund are set for a busy summer ahead as the club aims to revamp their squad following a solid-yet-ultimately-trophyless campaign.

A handful of players are set to depart the club with Julian Brandt, Niklas Sule and Salih Ozcan already confirmed. More are set to follow in their footsteps and head out of Signal Iduna Park.

Similarly, there could be an influx of new players coming in with Joane Gadou's signing on Wednesday just the first of many arrivals expected at the Westfalonstadion.

Dortmund linked with Nigerian young gun

Among the players that the BVB are currently linked with is AIK right winger Zadok Yohanna. The 18-year-old is making waves with the Swedish team and has struck five times in 11 matches this year.

The teenager is currently valued at €500,000 and has emerged as a potential summer target for the Black and Yellows, according to a report by Africa Soccer.

A right winger by trade, Yohanna offers an exciting mix of height with technical ability. As his goalscoring stats in 2026 suggest, the Nigerian possesses promising finishing skills too.

According to data from Transfermarkt, the player doesn't seem to have a contract expiration date at AIK, which means he could be heading towards becoming a free agent if a long-term deal isn't struck.

That's where Dortmund come in. The BVB could capitalize on his situation by formalizing their interest with a serious bid.

AIK's lack of clarity here may leave them with the prospect of having to choose between losing such a promising young prospect for free or perhaps cashing in.

Yohanna has started in all seven of their league games in the Swedish top-flight Allsvenskan this season which reflect his growing influence on the side.

Moreover, allowing him consistent gametime shows the club is serious about turning the young gun into a first-team star with the player demonstrating full capability of the same thus far.

What makes Yohanna stand out is his technical proficiency, electric pace and attacking creativity all of which are qualities that bely his age.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that he's being monitored by several European sides with Dortmund particularly considering him as their next young talent on the books.

Coming at a dirt cheap price with significant development potential, the BVB might take their chance given their impeccable track record of developing young attacking talents.

A move to Dortmund would also give Yohanna a much bigger platform to showcase his talents and perhaps garner wider media attention too.
