Borussia Dortmund loan watch: Struggles continue for strike duo

Borussia Dortmund allowed Salih Özcan to leave on loan this past summer, and the defensive midfielder made the temporary switch to Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg.
Özcan has spent 345 minutes on the pitch so far this season for Wolfsburg. And while he has made three starts, he has not been able to cement his place in the starting XI for Ralph Hasenhüttl's side.
The 26 year old did help Wolfsburg eliminate Borussia Dortmund in the DFB-Pokal. He came off the bench in the 90th minute as Jonas Wind's dramatic 117th minute winner helped knock out the Black and Yellows.
It has been a mixed start to the season for Wolfsburg, who are currently 12th in the Bundesliga standings with three wins and four losses from their opening ten games.
