Borussia Dortmund claimed a narrow 2-1 win over St. Pauli on Friday evening with Serhou Guirassy scoring a late winner once again.

Serhou Guirassy's seventh goal in seven appearances for Borussia Dortmund made the difference at the Westfalenstadion on Friday evening. The Black and Yellows were made to work hard by a spirited St. Pauli side, but ultimately prevailed 2-1.

Ramy Bensebaini was also on target for Borussia Dortmund, scoring his first goal for the club. Eric Smith scored a scorching goal for St. Pauli, who were unable to get anything out of the game despite putting in a resilient performance.

Borussia Dortmund once again showed that they are very much a work in progress. While Nuri Sahin's side created plenty of chances, they also looked sloppy at the back and lacked control in midfield. But Guirassy's late winner spared BVB from more dropped points against a team that is set to battle against relegation this season.
