Borussia Dortmund are considering a move for Real Madrid outcast, Gonzalo Garcia. The Spanish wonderkid is currently surplus to the club's requirements and is contemplating on finding greener pastures.

Garcia announced himself to the world with talismanic displays for Los Blancos at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where he finished as the joint top-scorer with four goals to his name as the Spanish giants achieved a semi-final finish.

Many expected him to play a bigger role within the squad the following season and while he did receive playing time under Xabi Alonso, Garcia's career has been frozen out since the manager's dismissal.

The 22-year-old now finds himself out of favor at Madrid and rumors of exit have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. Dortmund could end up being his next destination as the club is willing to table a serious bid for him.

Spanish media reports that Die Borussen are planning to make an offer worth €30million for the young gun, but Real Madrid are said to demand at least €60million, which is Garcia's market value right now. The striker had extended his contract until 2030 last year.

Having previously been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt and VfB Stuttgart, Garcia remains a hot commodity in the market but it remains to be seen if Dortmund are willing to double their offer before any serious negotiations begin.

The club doesn't have a record of making exorbitant outlays but boasts an incredible history of developing young and promising talents which could appeal Garcia, whom Real Madrid are ready to let go at the right price.

Roma interested in Brandt

With Julian Brandt set to become a free agent this summer, top clubs around Europe are sounding their interests in the playmaker. The latest to do so is Serie A giants, AS Roma.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi have already initiated contact with the player's entourage as the club aims to sieze the opportunity of roping him in on a free transfer.

While it does signal concrete interest in the player, whose technical ability, passing range and eye for goal looks appealing to Roma, Brandt's availability is expected to whip up some competition.

Moreover, fresh reports suggest he's rather keen to move to Spanish LaLiga as his partner lives in Catalonia and it would be easier for Brandt to remain close to his family.

According to Sport Bild, the Germany international is even ready to join a side that isn't a top side in the division.
