Borussia Dortmund forward Fabio Silva reportedly wants to leave the club this summer. He's largely been second fiddle to Serhou Guirassy while his playing style doesn't gel within Niko Kovac's setup.

Signed just last year from Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers on a five-year contract, the Portuguese lad could be on the move once again this summer.

According to transfer market expert Rudy Galetti, Silva is considering his future away from the Signal Iduna Park with LaLiga clubs interested.

His time with Las Palmas has a lot fo with it, with Silva emerging as the side's top scorer with 10 goals in 24 league games, although it couldn't help them beat relegation.

Silva, though, was offered a way out of the second division nightmare with Dortmund coming in for his services in a move that hopes to propel his exploits further.

However, it hasn't gone to plan so far. In 38 appearances this season, Silva has scored just three goals, while Serhou Guirassy's form also means he hasn't been able to nail down a starting berth.

All this has prompted the 23-year-old to reconsider his future and he could be headed for a sixth club in the last six years, having seen loan spells at Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven, Rangers and Las Palmas before signing for the BVB.

Galetti has also reported that Premier League clubs are interested too although an immediate return to English top-flight sounds unlikely given Silva's poor record at Wolves.

The forward struggled to adapt to the league's physical demands and scored just five goals in 73 games; four coming in the first season alone.

But latest reports suggest Guirassy wants a move away from Dortmund. The Guinean international has struck 16 times in the league this season, but doesn't seem happy with his time there.

Should the striker move, Silva could stay put provided Kovac can assure him of being their preferred striker, but even that appears unlikely given his belowpar goalscoring stats.

The prospect of both of Dortmund's forwards leaving this summer is likely as the club could then reinforce their attacking vanguard with fresh legs.

Guirassy likely starter for final game

Borussia Dortmund close out their Bundesliga season on Saturday and Serhou Guirassy is likely to start upfront ahead of Fabio Silva once more.

Kovac had stressed upon their ambitions of finishing with 73 points and he'd be taking no chances with it, thereby opting for his preferred forward.
