Expected Borussia Dortmund lineup vs St. Pauli

Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel

Kobel endured another difficult international break as Switzerland's winless run continued. He will hope for a quiet evening in goal on Friday, as St. Pauli have struggled for goals in the Bundesliga so far this season.

Defence: Julian Ryerson, Waldemar Anton, Nico Schlotterbeck, Ramy Bensebaini

Yan Couto's injury means that Julian Ryerson should return to right-back. Borussia Dortmund could find themselves down to bare bones in defence on Friday, with Niklas Süle also dealing with an illness. Ramy Bensebaini is likely to start at left-back, fresh off his goal for Algeria.

Waldemar Anton and Nico Schlotterbeck will continue their partnership at centre-back. Both players have shown glimpses of his quality this season, but have also been guilty of sloppy decision making. They will hope to find some defensive stability in the coming weeks, starting with the game against St. Pauli.
