Defenders

Julian Ryerson - 7.5/10

The Borussia Dortmund right-back began the game strongly and put in a fabulous cross for Guirassy to head in their opening goal. He completed 96% of his passes and jumped into a few ground duels aiming to disrupt the home side's movements.

Waldemar Anton - 8/10

Dortmund's MVP today with 129 passes compeleted, Anton was at the heart of all their movements. He was key to starting attacking phases from the back while also looking solid defensively - he won two ground and aerial duels each.

Remi Bensebaini - 8/10

Bensebaini too was integral to Dortmund's movements today and completed over 100 passes like Anton. But the Algerian was more aggressive off the ball than him, competing in more duels (10) and coming away triumphant on more occasions too (5).
