Borussia Dortmund fought back from two goals down to beat Hoffenheim 3-2 in the Bundesliga on Saturday and continue their winning start in the campaign.
Serhou Guirassy, Fabio Silva and an own goal from Albian Hajdari completed the turn around after the hour mark as Leon Avdullahu and Tim Lemperle strikes were canceled.
Having lost on their last visit to Rhein Neckar Arena, the BVB were seemingly headed towards another defeat but demonstrated excellent character and grit to fight their way back and seal all three points.
Six points from a possible six to start the season, a first for Dortmund since 2022-23 season. Here are some key talking points from the pulsating match:
Three games, three goals for Silva
Fabio Silva is on a roll this season. In three appearances for BVB, he's struck once in all three of them to demonstrate a prolific run of form that he'd struggled to produce following his big money transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers last term.
Coming off the bench once more with Dortmund trailing 2-1 in the tie, Guirassy teed him up from near the halfway line and the striker raced into the acres of space between Hoffenheim defense before lashing a low-drive into the bottom corner and bring his side level.
In just three games, he's already matched his tally from the entirety of last season.
Supersub Nwaneri makes big impact on debut
Arsenal loanee Ethan Nwaneri came off the bench to force the own goal from Hajdari that won Dortmund the match. Silva teed up him after Nwaneri himself started the move and the 19-year-old pranced inside the area before cutting it back for Guirassy, but Hajdari inadvertently turned it into his own net.
Given that there wasn't much to see from him besides that moment, it's still a performance to build on. After being frozen out at Arsenal by Mikel Arteta, Nwaneri came to Dortmund looking for regular gametime and it would certainly help him if he's able to keep up this momentum in the coming fixtures.

When you're two goals down (away from home) after 60 minutes and one of your key players has already gone off injured, a side would need to show immense grit and determination to come out of the blackhole. But that's exactly what Dortmund displayed today.
The BVB team of last season might have struggled to pull their way out of this, but this is a new side, one that's bustling with confidence and evidently possesses dogged mentality that's needed to sustain themselves in the title race for the long haul.
