Julian Brandt not thinking about revenge ahead of Champions League final rematch against Real Madrid

Julian Brandt has said that Borussia Dortmund do not have revenge on their mind as they get ready to take on Real Madrid in a repeat of last season's UEFA Champions League final.
Borussia Dortmund will face Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening. The two sides last met in June in the CL final, when the Spanish giants claimed a 2-0 win. The Black and Yellows, though, aren't motivated by revenge going into Tuesday's meeting between the two sides.

During the pre-match press conference, Brandt spoke about revenge being a possible motivator for Borussia Dortmund. "They are two different games. I don't see revenge as an issue," Brandt said.
"Real Madrid haven't changed their squad much, but I don't know if we can take much from the Wembley final. The past should remain in the past. It's a different situation and a completely different starting position. I have confidence in our coaches and our match plan and the boys."
It has been all change at Borussia Dortmund since the Champions League final, with Nuri Sahin replacing Edin Terzic as head coach, the departures of Mats Hummels and Marco Reus, as well as the arrival of a new number nine in Serhou Guirassy, among other changes.
Real Madrid will be the favourites to come out on top on Tuesday evening, having bolstered their squad with the addition of Kylian Mbappe since last season's CL final. But Borussia Dortmund, who have made an excellent start to their Champions League campaign this season, will be determined to pull off an upset and continue their impressive run of form in the competition.
