Manchester United are reportedly chasing Borussia Dortmund star Jobe Bellingham, reigniting their interest in the player that got away last summer.

TEAMtallk have published an exclusive report that the Red Devils are prioritizing two central midfielders for the upcoming transfer window and Bellingham is among the considerations.

The midfielder has put his early struggles at Dortmund behind him with a ruthless form over the last few weeks, starting in 18 of their 20 games.

It highlightes Bellingham's growing influence on the side as well as manager Niko Kovac's faith in him to act as a solid cover for the back-four while also pulling the strings going forward.

United were apparently in cahoots with the star last summer over a possible move to Old Trafford, but it didn't come to fruition after the 20-year-old opted to continue his development in the Bundesliga.

Following in his brother Jude Bellingham's footsteps, Bellingham made a lucrative £27.8 million move to Signal Iduna Park from Sunderland in June 2025.

While the young gun struggled to acclimatize to new surroundings early on, he slowly found his feet and hasn't looked back since. In fact, Bellingham is now a vital cog in Kovac's well-oiled juggernaut.

A versatile and robust box-to-box midfielder, he possesses strong technical ability to control a game's tempo combined with intelligent movements and devastating passing range.

His talents have certainly not gone unnoticed in Europe, with a host of big clubs such as Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain keeping tabs on him.

United have reentered the arena for him, although reports suggest the club has maintained a consistent scouting presence at Dortmund over the course of the season.

TEAMtalk also suggests that United officials have made several visits to monitor players such as Nico Schlotterbeck, Karim Adeyemi and Daniel Svensson.

Yet, it's Bellingham's meteoric rise to prominence in recent months that has become a serious talking point within their recruitment staff as they look for midfield reinforcements.

But sources close to Bellingham have revealed that he's not seeking another transfer so soon as the player is rumored to enjoy his time at Dortmund right now.

He still has another four years in his contract as the BVB look up to him as a vital part of their long-term project while any attempt to price him away could incur an exorbitant outlay too.

Moreover, Premier League giants such as Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are suppposedly moniroting his situation too.
