Borussia Dortmund were unable to break down Eintracht Franfurt in the first half of their Bundesliga clash as the rivals are currently tied at 0-0.

Once again, the BVB have dominated the statistics, holding up 61% of the ball and mustering six shots, of which four were on target.

Serhou Guirassy had two shots saved, including a one-on-one chance in the 17th minute while Felix Nmecha's close-range attempt in the dying embers of the half was also blocked by Frankfurt goalkeeper Noah Atubolu.

Fabio Silva also came in with a bright chance inside the opening 10 minutes of the clash but smashed his effort into the stands as Dortmund were once again lacking in the cutting edge to make their chances count.

Fans took to X to make their frustrations known. Here are some of the best reaction:

One X user was displeased with Ryerson's crosses on the night:

"If I see Ryerson hit the first opposing player with a cross one more time, I’m going to lose my mind."

Another disgruntled fan wrote:

"My eyes are bleeding—what am I forced to watch here week after week? Please, fire Kovac already‼️"

One X user was unhappy with their full-backs, Daniel Svensson and Julian Ryerson:

"Every single attack dies at the feet of Svensson/Ryerson.
Technically, Ryerson isn’t even at a Schalke level. It’s truly painful to watch."

This BVB fan labeled their performance 'boring':

"What a dreary and boring brand of football.
Then again, it’s no surprise when you only field two attacking players in a home match."

This X account was more forgiving in their assessment, as they wrote:

"Good first half; Kovač just needs a bit more time."

One curious observer noted this about Ryerson:

"Ryerson is wide open, takes 5 minutes to bring the ball under control, and then fires it straight at the full-back."

Another fan called for substitutions:

"Tired legs... substitutions could bring some freshness... playing towards the South Stand in the second half... that might provide an extra boost, too!!!

Come on, we need to see more now!"

This user didn't expect the match to remain goalless:

"Didn't score a goal? Very surprising, given the lineup."

This X user wrote:

"Extremely poor when it comes to clear-cut chances—bordering on arrogant—and otherwise once again completely devoid of ideas. For instance, there were several missed opportunities to play a through ball (even though the runs made by Guirassy and Silva were often excellent), simply because the players had nothing in mind other than delivering yet another pointless cross."
