10 Borussia Dortmund players called up for international duty

A total of ten Borussia Dortmund players will be on international duty for the final international break of the season.

Borussia Dortmund's season is finely poised at the moment, with a number of big games on the horizon over the next two months. But before that, club football will take a breather for the final international break of the season.

Only one BVB player has been named in the latest Germany squad by Julian Nagelsmann. Niclas Füllkrug will be leading the attack for Germany in their friendly matches against France and the Netherlands.

Donyell Malen will go up against his strike partner, as he has been called up by the Netherlands for their friendly matches against Scotland and Germany. Ian Maatsen has not made the senior squad, and will instead by representing the Netherlands U-21s for their fixtures against Norway and Macedonia.

Julian Ryerson will be away with Norway as they face the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Marcel Sabitzer and Austria will face Salih Özcan and Turkey in a friendly match on March 26. Austria will also play a friendly against Slovakia, while Vincenzo Montella's side will begin their international break against Hungary. Ramy Bensebaini is part of the Algeria squad that will play friendly matches against Bolivia and South Africa.

Youssoufa Moukoko is set to feature for the Germany U-21s as they continue their European Championship qualifying campaign against Kosovo and Israel. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens will also be in Euro U-21 qualifying action, as England go up against Azerbaijan and Luxembourg. Julien Duranville has been called up by the Belgium U-21s for their matches against Malta and Spain.
