5. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (€63.75m)
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang needs no introduction to the Borussia Dortmund faithful. The Gabonese international became one of the best strikers in the world at BVB. Infamous for his incredible pace, witty celebrations and hothead nature behind the scenes, Aubameyang was the kind of character who attracted plenty of eyes.
Fortunately for Auba, some of those eyes were in England, when he attracted interest from Premier League side Arsenal. In 2018, Arsenal signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for €63.75m, paid directly to BVB. This made Aubameyang the fifth most expensive Borussia Dortmund sale of all-time.

Ultimately, Aubameyang had an excellent time with Arsenal. During his peak, he helped the club win trophies and he even became their captain after emerging into their most important player. Of course, the nature of his Arsenal exit was not the greatest due to disciplinary issues but as a player, no Arsenal fan can fault Aubameyang.
