Having left Borussia Dortmund on an initial loan deal during the summer transfer window, Youssoufa Moukoko made his first start for French club OGC Nice on Friday evening. Nice scored six goals in the first-half, with former Borussia Dortmund target Mohamed-Ali Cho also on target. Moukoko forced an own goal to get the scoring started in the fourth minute, before heading home from close range to make it 4-0 in the 26th minute.

The Germany U-21s international then set up Evann Guessand for OGC Nice's fifth goal, before making it 6-0 with a fine left-footed finish in the 39th minute.

It was a statement win for OGC Nice, who have started their Ligue 1 campaign with two wins, one draw, and two losses from their opening five matches.

Youssoufa Moukoko will hope to build on his brace in the coming weeks, with several big matches coming up for his side. Nice will be in UEFA Europa League action on Wednesday against Real Sociedad.

Moukoko left Borussia Dortmund this past summer after being left frustrated by his lack of playing time. The highly rated striker was linked with a number of big clubs, before joining Nice on an initial loan deal with an option to make the signing permanent at the end of the season.
