Borussia Dortmund projected starting XI against PSV Eindhoven

Borussia Dortmund will be looking to secure their place in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals for the first time in three years on Wednesday as they take on PSV Eindhoven.

A massive test awaits Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday evening against their former head coach Peter Bosz and PSV Eindhoven. The two sides played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg, which means that it will be all to play for at the Westfalenstadion.

Edin Terzic will hope to have the majority of his team available for selection, although Nico Schlotterbeck (suspension) and Sebastien Haller (injury) will miss the game on Wednesday evening. Gregor Kobel missed the first leg due to a muscle injury. But he will likely be in the starting XI ahead of Alexander Meyer on Wednesday.

Ian Maatsen will start at left-back against his former club, with Julian Ryerson expected to slot in on the opposite flank. Although the latter is a doubt after missing team training on Tuesday.

Marcel Sabitzer was sent off at the weekend, but that will not affect his chances of playing from the start against PSV. The Austrian international helped set up Donyell Malen's goal in the first leg. Julian Brandt could also keep his place in the starting XI in the attacking midfield role.
