Team News

The extent of success for Borussia Dortmund this season is highly dependent on how far they can go in Europe’s elite competition. There are a few injury concerns being carried over from the weekend into Tuesday’s tie. Mats Hummels was forced off in the second-half against RB Leipzig with a shin laceration, but Edin Terzic was quick to play down the centre-back’s injury issue.

Donyell Malen and Ian Maatsen are also doubts for the first leg due to muscular problems. Sebastien Haller has been out with an ankle injury, but is now closing in on his return. He could potentially return to the squad on Wednesday.

For Paris Saint-Germain, they do not have any new absences to report. Sergio Rico and Presnel Kimpembe are long-term absences. Kylian Mbappe did not start in the outing against Le Havre as Luis Enrique has been transitioning his side to getting used to the Frenchman’s impending exit this summer. However, Mbappe will be fit and raring to go in this crucial semifinal tie.
