Borussia Dortmund reiterate Chelsea target Karim Adeyemi is not for sale

Borussia Dortmund have made it clear once again that they have no plans to sell Karim Adeyemi this summer, despite rumours linking him with a move to Chelsea and Juventus.
The future of Karim Adeyemi has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with multiple reports claiming that Juventus and Chelsea are interested in signing him. It was also claimed that the Black and Yellows have set an asking price of around 50 million euros for the 22 year old, who has three years left on his current contract.
"We've never opened the door" - Lars Ricken on Karim Adeyemi to Chelsea links
But Borussia Dortmund CEO Lars Ricken has now rubbished claims that Adeyemi could leave the club this summer. "Every day there is a name in the press that supposedly wants to leave, and there are talks of how much we will earn by selling them. We've never opened the door or mentioned any figures, so that's not an issue for us at all," Ricken said (via Ruhr Nachrichten).
Adeyemi is coming off a rather disappointing year with Borussia Dortmund, and managed just five goals and two assists in 34 appearances across all competitions last season. He will hope to make a bigger impact in the coming campaign and establish himself as an important player for Nuri Sahin's side.
Borussia Dortmund signed Karim Adeyemi from RB Salzburg in 2022 for a fee in the region of 30 million euros. The forward won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Year award during his debut season with the club.
