Borussia Dortmund target Jadon Sancho makes Manchester United return after u-turn
By Tushar Bahl
Jadon Sancho made his first appearance in Manchester United colours on Saturday as he took part in their pre-season friendly against Rangers.
It is no secret that Borussia Dortmund wanted to sign Jadon Sancho permanently this summer. But their hopes of a permanent move for the English forward were dashed by Manchester United's high asking price. Now, it appears that a stay at Old Trafford could be the likeliest outcome for Sancho after a spectacular u-turn.
11 months on from his last appearance for Manchester United, Sancho featured for the English Premier League side on Saturday as he started in their friendly match against Rangers.
The 24 year old was suspended from the first-team by manager Erik ten Hag last season, and ended up moving to Borussia Dortmund on a loan deal in January. At that time, Sancho said that returning to Borussia Dortmund felt like 'coming back home.'

There was little hope of Sancho and ten Hag resolving their differences, and multiple reports claimed that the forward would leave Manchester United permanently this summer. But it appears that they have now made up, and ten Hag has opened up on their talks to clear the air.
"We spoke well. Anyone can make a mistake. If the player reflects well on that, then you draw a line and move on again. This club needs good players, and one thing is for sure: Jadon is a terribly good player. I hope that the click still comes and that he will contribute to our success," ten Hag told AD Sportwereld.
Borussia Dortmund were set to be priced out of a move for Jadon Sancho regardless, and it looks like he will now be making a fresh start at Manchester United. During his second stint with the Black and Yellows, Sancho registered three goals and three assists in 21 appearances.
