Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Jadon Sancho, with the forward arriving on loan until the end of the season.

Jadon Sancho has secured a spectacular return to Borussia Dortmund, less than three years after his big money move to Manchester United. The 23 year old has joined the Black and Yellows on loan until the end of the season and will hope to rediscover his form in the Bundesliga in the coming months.

The loan deal does not include an option to make the signing permanent at the end of the season, with Manchester United keen on making a decision over Sancho's future in the summer.

Borussia Dortmund will hope that Sancho's return can give them a spark in attack after a disappointing first half of the season in the Bundesliga. The Englishman scored 50 goals and registered 64 assists during his first spell with BVB, and will have a key role to play in their hopes of qualifying for next season's UEFA Champions League.

Sancho, who hasn't played in a competitive game since August following a dispute with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, said that he is raring to get going at Borussia Dortmund. "When I walked into the dressing room today, it felt like a homecoming. I know the club inside out. I can't wait to see my teammates again, to get out on the pitch, play with a smile on my face, set up goals, score goals and help BVB qualify for the Champions League."
