A 96th minute equaliser from Robert Andrich helped Bayer Leverkusen keep their unbeaten run alive, while Darmstadt's relegation was confirmed on matchday 31 of the Bundesliga season.

Bayer Leverkusen left it late once again as they extended their unbeaten run across all competitions to 46 matches. Xabi Alonso's side came from two goals down to rescue a 2-2 draw against Stuttgart, with Robert Andrich scoring a 96th minute equaliser. Amine Adli had earlier halved the defecit for the Bundesliga champions, after goals from Chris Führich and Deniz Undav had put Stuttgart in a commanding position.

RB Leipzig came from behind to ruthlessly dispatch Borussia Dortmund 4-1 in what was a crucial six-pointer for fourth place. Goals from Loïs Openda, Benjamin Šeško, Mohamed Simakan and Christoph Baumgartner helped Leipzig claim the three points after Jadon Sancho's first-half opener.

Bayern Munich boosted their hopes of finishing second by earning a 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. Harry Kane scored a brace for the Bavarians, while Hugo Ekitiké was on target for the Eagles.

Nikola Dovedan scored a 90th minute winner to give Heidenheim the three points against Darmstadt. The defeat confirmed Darmstadt's relegation from the Bundesliga.

A stoppage time penalty from Florian Kainz helped FC Köln cancel Leandro Barreiro's first-half opener and rescue a point away to fellow relegation candidates Mainz 05. The Billy Goats remain five points shy of the 05ers, who occupy the relegation play-off spot.

VfL Bochum boosted their hopes of avoiding relegation by claiming a 3-2 win over TSG Hoffenheim. Kevin Stöger scored a brace for the Ruhr side, while Felix Passlack was also on target. Andrej Kramarić scored twice late on to bring Hoffenheim back into the game, but Bochum held on for the three points.

SC Freiburg's hopes of playing in the UEFA Europa League next season were dashed as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to Wolfsburg. Late goals from Maximilian Arnold and Maxence Lacroix helped Ralph Hasenhüttl's side earn a dramatic win after Sebastiaan Bornauw's own goal had put Freiburg in front.

Werder Bremen handed the in-form FC Augsburg a 3-0 defeat, with Romano Schmid, Marvin Ducksch and Olivier Deman all on target. While Borussia Mönchengladbach and Union Berlin played out a goalless draw.
