BVB internationals: Niclas Füllkrug, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens on target

Niclas Füllkrug was the match-winner for Germany, while Jamie Bynoe-Gittens scored for the first time for the England U-21s on an eventful evening for the Borussia Dortmund internationals.

Germany went up against the Netherlands in a friendly match on Tuesday evening, and Julian Nagelsmann's side came from behind to register a 2-1 win. Niclas Füllkrug came off the bench and headed home the winner for Germany. Donyell Malen played from the start and had some encouraging moments before being subbed off in the 75th minute.

The Netherlands had earlier taken the lead in the fourth minute through PSV Eindhoven midfielder Joey Veerman. Maximilian Mittelstädt of Stuttgart then pulled Germany back on level terms, before Füllkrug came up clutch and scored the winning goal late on.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens scored his first goal for the England U-21s as they cruised to a 7-0 win over Luxembourg in the UEFA Euro U-21 qualifiers. The talented Borussia Dortmund winger played from the start and scored England's third goal with a composed finish at the end of a blistering counter-attack.

Youssoufa Moukoko helped the Germany U-21s claim a vital 2-0 win over Israel. Ian Maatsen played in midfield as the Netherlands U-21s claimed a 3-0 win over Moldova. While Julien Duranville was an unused substitute in Belgium U-21s' 1-0 defeat to Spain.

Marcel Sabitzer missed out through illness as Austria cruised to a 5-1 win over Salih Özcan and Turkey. Julian Ryerson made his return to action for Norway as they played out a 1-1 draw against Slovakia.
