Emre Can praised Serhou Guirassy's impact up front for Borussia Dortmund after the striker scored a game-changing brace against VfL Bochum on Friday evening.

Serhou Guirassy continued his strong start to life at Borussia Dortmund by scoring two goals in their come from behind 4-2 win over VfL Bochum. The striker inspired Nuri Sahin's side to a comeback win with his sublime all-round performance, as he also created a number of chances for his teammates and won the penalty that was converted by Emre Can.

And the Borussia Dortmund captain hailed the summer signing after the game. "Serhou is super. It's good to have a player like that up front, where you know you can always pass the ball to him. He's always good for a goal and hopefully Serhou will score a few more for us this season. It's a good start, but like all of us, he can still play better," Can told DAZN.

Guirassy has now scored four goals in four appearances for Borussia Dortmund this season, with all four coming in the last three games.

The towering striker joined Borussia Dortmund on the back of his incredible campaign with VfB Stuttgart that saw him score 30 goals in 30 appearances. He was forced to miss the first few games of the season due to an injury suffered while on international duty in June. But he is now fully fit again and has made a strong start to life at BVB.

Serhou Guirassy will be keen to continue his run on Tuesday as the Black and Yellows go up against Celtic in the UEFA Champions League.
