Gregor Kobel has no problem with Borussia Dortmund being the underdogs in their UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid. The goalkeeper is looking forward to what promises to be an exciting spectacle at the Wembley Stadium.

Borussia Dortmund are set for their first Champions League final appearance in 11 years next weekend when they take on Real Madrid on June 1. A gigantic task awaits the Black and Yellows as they look to prevent the Spanish giants from winning Europe's premier club competition for a record 15th time.

Gregor Kobel is relishing the opportunity of facing Real Madrid on the biggest stage in football, and has faith in Borussia Dortmund's ability to pull of an upset. The BVB vice-captain also believes that they can beat any team in the world if they are at their best.

"It's pretty clear and no secret that we'll be the underdogs," Kobel said in a media round (via WAZ). "I have no problem with that. As we all know, anything can happen in football. We will be ready. If we are at our best, we can win against any team in the world."

"It's huge that Borussia Dortmund are in the final, it's going to be a very exciting game that we're all looking forward to. You don't know how many times you will get the opportunity to win this title in a final like this. So we want to make the most of this one."

Borussia Dortmund have enjoyed a stunning Champions League campaign, winning the group of death before seeing off the challenges of PSV Eindhoven, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain en route to the final. Now the biggest test of all awaits Edin Terzic's side in their bid to win the Champions League for the first time since 1997.
