Borussia Dortmund will hope to make it four wins in a row in the Bundesliga as they take on Heidenheim on Friday evening.

After waltzing into the Bundesliga top four, Borussia Dortmund will look to maintain their cushion over RB Leipzig, and continue their strong run of form as they go up against the in-form Heidenheim. Edin Terzic will be mindful of the reverse fixture, during which his side let a two goal lead slip and only managed to come away with a 2-2 draw.

Heidenheim have grown leaps and bounds since that game, showing that they well and truly belong in the Bundesliga. Frank Schmidt's side are currently on a six-game unbeaten run and find themselves in tenth place in the Bundesliga standings.

Borussia Dortmund may well have to make do without a number of key players on Friday. Jadon Sancho is dealing with a muscular problem, while Gregor Kobel, Julian Brandt, and Marco Reus are sidelined with an illness. Karim Adeyemi, Julian Ryerson, and Felix Nmecha are also recovering from their respective injuries.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens could be in line for a spot in the starting XI, while Youssoufa Moukoko will also hope to play from the start once again. Niclas Füllkrug is coming off his first hat-trick in BVB colours and will hope to score again on Friday.
