Marcel Sabitzer - Austria
Sabitzer played an important role in helping Austria finish top of their group ahead of France and the Netherlands. Ralf Ragnick’s side surprised many by finishing top in the so called group of death, and Sabitzer was one of the main reasons for the success.
The Austria captain managed to get on the scoresheet against the Netherlands in the all-important last group game, scoring the winning goal in the 3-2 triumph. After a good first season with Borussia Dortmund, he is further cementing his quality and importance at the Euros.
