Report: Jadon Sancho's loan move to Borussia Dortmund will not include purchase option
Borussia Dortmund's deal to sign Jadon Sancho on loan will reportedly not include a purchase option.
Jadon Sancho is said to be on the verge of a spectacular move to Borussia Dortmund, with the Black and Yellows hoping to complete his loan signing in the coming days. However, the loan move will seemingly not include a purchase option.
This is being reported by Sky Sport, who add that Sancho's salary and Manchester United's asking price make a permanent transfer to Borussia Dortmund unfeasible. It remains to be seen if that will change in the coming months, especially if the 23 year old manages to make a big impact on his return to BVB.
Sancho is keen on a move to Borussia Dortmund as he looks to rediscover his form after a difficult spell at Manchester United. The forward was suspended from the first-team in August after claiming that he was being made a scapegoat by manager Erik ten Hag.
Borussia Dortmund will also be desperate for Sancho to pick up where he left off before his big money move to the English Premier League. Edin Terzic's side are coming off a poor first half of the season, and face an uphill battle to finish in the Bundesliga top four.
Even on a straight loan move with no buy option, signing Jadon Sancho could prove to be a great deal for Borussia Dortmund. The Englishman has the ability to be the difference maker and turn the club's season around, and also revitalise his career in the process.
