Jude Bellingham believes that Jamie Bynoe-Gittens has what it takes to follow in his footsteps and win the Golden Boy award next season.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is making plenty of waves in his sophomore season with the Borussia Dortmund first-team, and has two goals and two assists in his last four starts for the club. Former BVB midfielder Jude Bellingham is backing the highly rated winger to be one of the contenders to win the Golden Boy award next year.

Bellingham, who won the Golden Boy award this season after finishing second in the rankings last season, said in an interview with Tuttosport that he expects Bynoe-Gittens, current Real Madrid teammate Arda Güler, and his brother Jobe to be in contention to win the prestigious award in 2024.

The Golden Boy award is given to the best performing player in Europe under the age of 21. Bellingham said, "I will say three names. First of all Arda Güler, now recovering from the injuries that prevented him from making his debut with Real: he is a phenomenon, we see him in training and we are delighted with him. Then my former teammate Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund. And finally my brother Jobe, a natural striker like our father."

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who joined Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in 2020, is considered to be one of the most exciting young players at the club. The 19 year old recently signed a contract extension with the Black and Yellows, amid interest from the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle United. He has scored five goals and assisted a further three in 33 appearances across all competitions for Borussia Dortmund.
