Karim Adeyemi will not be joining Juventus it seems, with Borussia Dortmund determined not to sell the star forward this summer.

Juventus are desperate to sign Karim Adeyemi this summer, but face missing out on the Chelsea target. The reason for this is Borussia Dortmund's insistence that the forward is not for sale, barring a huge offer. According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is currently considered to be OFF and Juventus will now quite possibly have to turn their focus towards other targets.

Karim Adeyemi set for Borussia Dortmund stay despite Juventus links

Adeyemi was reportedly keen on a move to Juventus, and it was claimed that the Italian giants were preparing a bid of around 35 million euros plus bonuses for the 22 year old. But now it looks like Borussia Dortmund will keep Adeyemi at the club beyond the end of the summer transfer window.

Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Adeyemi, but have not made their interest concrete as of this writing.

Borussia Dortmund signed Adeyemi two summers ago from RB Salzburg, and the forward has shown mixed results in terms of his performances. Adeyemi enjoyed a strong rookie season with the Black and Yellows, but struggled to make the same impact during his sophomore year. There are still three years left on his current contract with BVB.

Despite Adeyemi's underwhelming performances last season, he remains a key part of Nuri Sahin's plans for the upcoming campaign. The Germany international has shown time and again that he is capable of being a difference maker, and Borussia Dortmund will hope that he can now perform at that level on a more consistent basis.
