New twist in Jadon Sancho saga as Borussia Dortmund target is left out of Manchester United squad amid Chelsea link

Borussia Dortmund target Jadon Sancho has been left out of the Manchester United squad for their Premier League opener against Fulham, amid reports linking him with a move to Chelsea.
It is no secret that Borussia Dortmund wanted to bring Jadon Sancho back to the club after his successful loan spell at the Westfalenstadion during the second half of last season. But the chances of that happening are unlikely, with the Black and Yellows being priced out of a move thanks to Manchester United's high asking price.
Could Chelsea or PSG be Jadon Sancho's next destination?
Reports in Germany are now linking Sancho with a move to Chelsea. According to fussball.news, Chelsea are keen to sign the forward and are readying a package to bring him on an initial loan deal with the obligation to make the signing permanent at the end of the season.
Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing Sancho, with Fabrizio Romano claiming that the French giants spoke to the player's camp last month but no formal bid was made to Manchester United. The 24 year old's future remains open heading into the final two weeks of the transfer window.
Earlier this summer, it was thought that Sancho would stay at Manchester United after he resolved his dispute with manager Erik ten Hag. He was included in the squad for the Community Shield final against Manchester City last weekend. But now he has been left out of the squad for their English Premier League opener.
Jadon Sancho scored three goals and assisted a further three in 21 appearances across all competitions for Borussia Dortmund during the second half of last season.
