Niclas Füllkrug has heaped praise on Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and has backed him to continue to be a difference maker for Borussia Dortmund.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens has been in excellent form for Borussia Dortmund of late, and has made a big impact in his last three starts for the club. The highly rated winger announced himself on the UEFA Champions League stage against AC Milan on Tuesday as he scored his first goal in the competition.

In addition to his brilliantly taken go-ahead goal in the second-half, Bynoe-Gittens also caused all sorts of problems to the Milan defenders with his dribbling and directness. And the 19 year old also won his side a penalty in the first-half, that was converted by Marco Reus.

Niclas Füllkrug was full of praise of Bynoe-Gittens after the game, and said that they are delighted to have a player like him in the team. In an interview with Amazon Prime Video, the BVB striker said: "He still has a bit of room for improvement in his decision-making, but he is doing really well. He is always a threat to the opposition. We know when he gets the ball and has a one-on-one that we don't need to offer him support. We let him play his game and create space for him. It's worth its weight in gold to have a player like him in the team. We're happy about that and hope that he continues like this."

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who joined Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in 2020, had to deal with shoulder injuries for much of his debut season with the first-team. But he is now fully fit again, and is showing his incredible potential week in, week out. Bynoe-Gittens, who recently signed a contract extension with BVB, has scored two goals and assisted a further two in just 346 minutes of playing time this season.
