Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are set to battle it out in the Bundesliga this weekend in what will be a pivotal contest in the top four race.

The battle for fourth place in the Bundesliga will come to a head this weekend as RB Leipzig host Borussia Dortmund. With the Bundesliga likely to be awarded five Champions League spots next season, the game does not have as much riding on it. But both teams will still be determined to clinch fourth place in the standings.

Borussia Dortmund currently find themselves in fifth place, two points shy of RB Leipzig. And it will be interesting to see how they approach this weekend's game, as it comes just days before their Champions League semifinal first-leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

Ian Maatsen and Emre Can will get an enforced rest, with the duo serving a one-match yellow card suspension. Karim Adeyemi will return to the squad after serving his suspension, while Donyell Malen remains a doubt. Sebastien Haller and Ramy Bensebaini are currently sidelined with injuries.

Marcel Sabitzer will hope to continue his excellent run of form for Borussia Dortmund as he goes up against the club where he made his Bundesliga breakthrough. The 30 year old has three goals and three assists in his last three appearances.

RB Leipzig are in fine form at the moment, and will hope to continue their strong home record against Borussia Dortmund. Loïs Openda and Xavi Simons will be keen to impress once again for Marco Rose's side, who do not have any major personnel concerns ahead of the game.
