Jadon Sancho will reportedly be giving up around 2.5 million euros in salary to return to Borussia Dortmund on loan from Manchester United.

Borussia Dortmund are in talks to bring Jadon Sancho back to the club on loan until the end of the season. And while Manchester United are seemingly causing delays to the move, the Black and Yellows are optimistic of getting the deal over the line this month.

According to BILD, Sancho is ready to waive 2.5 million euros in salary to join Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season. The 23 year old has an annual salary of around 18 million euros at Manchester United, where he is one of the top earners. And BVB will be paying part of his wages for the second half of the season.

Multiple reports have claimed that the move to sign Sancho will cost Borussia Dortmund around 3-4 million euros. It has also been reported that BVB will not have the option to make the signing permanent at the end of the season. A permanent move to Borussia Dortmund would be more of a pipe dream anyways, thanks in part to Manchester United's high asking price and Sancho's wages.

Jadon Sancho hasn't played in a competitive match since August, having fallen out of favour at Manchester United after claiming that manager Erik ten Hag was scapegoating him. He will hope to rediscover his form after returning to Borussia Dortmund, having registered 50 goals and 64 assists during his first spell with the club.
