Sebastian Kehl hails Edin Terzic's impact after Borussia Dortmund's win over Bayern

Sebastian Kehl hailed the hard work of Edin Terzic after Borussia Dortmund's historic 2-0 win over Bayern Munich.

Borussia Dortmund finally ended their winless run against Bayern Munich on Saturday evening, with goals from Karim Adeyemi and Julian Ryerson securing a well-deserved 2-0 victory. The result showed that amid all the pressure and criticism, the Black and Yellows are still capable of going toe to toe with the best teams in Europe.

The win will also go a long way in relieving some of the pressure Edin Terzic has faced this season. Terzic has been subject to a lot of criticism this season due to Borussia Dortmund's playing style. But he set his team up to play proactive, counter-attacking football on Saturday. And it worked to great effect.

Seabstian Kehl said after the game that he is delighted for Terzic, adding that the entire coaching staff has done a great job of getting the team back of track. He also stated that Borussia Dortmund's match-plan worked perfectly against Bayern Munich on Saturday.

"I'm delighted for the coach. He worked so hard, it was so important to him [to get a good result against Bayern]. The coaching team has done a great job and we want to keep going now, because we still have some challenges ahead of us in the coming weeks. We still have a huge opportunity in the Champions League and we need the right energy for that. That's what the coach is giving us, the match plan was great [against Bayern] and everything fell into place," Kehl told Sky Sport.

Borussia Dortmund have won their last five matches across all competitions and will hope to continue their winning run against VfB Stuttgart this weekend.
