A total of eight Borussia Dortmund will be taking part in the European Championship that will take place in Germany from 14 June to 14 July.

With the club football season in the books, the stage is set for an enthralling summer of international football with Euro 2024 and Copa America taking centre stage. Six Borussia Dortmund players will be vying for European Championship glory this summer, with the Westfalenstadion set to host six matches, including a semifinal.

Hosts Germany have three BVB players in their squad, with Julian Nagelsmann calling up Nico Schlotterbeck, Niclas Füllkrug, as well as Emre Can as a replacement for Aleksandar Pavlović. Germany will have their sights set on a record fourth European title, and will face Scotland, Hungary, and Switzerland during the group stage. Gregor Kobel has been included in the Switzerland squad.

Donyell Malen and Ian Maatsen have both been named in the Netherlands squad for Euro 2024. The Dutch have been placed in what appears to be the group of death, and will face Poland, France, and Austria. Leading the charge for Austria will be Marcel Sabitzer, who will be keen to translate his excellent club form onto the international stage.

Salih Özcan is part of the Turkey squad for their European Championship campaign. Turkey are in Group F and will go up against Georgia, Portugal, and the Czech Republic.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stage, where they will be joined by the four best third placed teams. The Euro 2024 knockout stage will begin with the round of 16, with the final set to take place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on 14 July.
